Che Sehyun reached out to me multiple times when I was working at Reel Grrls, and eventually I had capacity to get to know his work and his ability to create narratives that uplifted the Asian Diaspora. I am inspired by his understanding of his history and ability to manifest the reality he wants to operate within. Before the pandemic Che was building up his work through Future Ancients, and I had the opportunity to have him as a guest on We Educate People where he talked about how he was able to escape the pressures of being pushed into the sciences, and fulfill his passion to inspire others through the arts.
